The Warrior Rooftop
Offering a unique 360º view of the city, the Casa Mila rooftop is genuinely remarkable. The dynamic structure and the symbolic shapes of the knight heads, along with the stairwells, ventilation towers, and chimneys, serve their purpose while following the organic flow of the main facade.
The Whale Attic
There are seven sections in the exhibition that deals exclusively with La Pedrera. The space resembles the inside of a whale. It currently houses objects, designs, models, photographs, and videos, which gives us an insight into how Gaudí took inspiration from nature for his works.
The Pedrera Apartments
On the fourth floor, the Tenant’s Apartment takes you back in time as you get to see how the bourgeois family of the 20th century lived in Barcelona. A video complements your visit as it takes you through Barcelona’s transformation in the early 20th century.
The Flower Courtyard
Contrasting the sober facade, the Flower Courtyard stands thanks to its mesmerizing spectacle of shapes, light, and colors of the wall paintings and motifs. The staircase ceiling has life-like flowers, while it climbs up to the main floor resembling a winding root.
